Starting in January 2009 Sunbelt Furniture Xpress will initiate LTL pickup service on shipments originating in Texas moving to our direct service area. SunBelt is very excited with this new service offering as requested by many of our retailers who source product from Texas based manufacturers and importers.
The Sunbelt Furniture Xpress satellite facility will be based in Carrollton TX (Dallas) and will provide on time pick up and consolidation services as well as de-vanning of containers and warehousing prior to moving our customer’s product to market. The Dallas TX facility offers SunBelt a "mid America" hub of operations and compliments the shipments put into our delivery network by our Hickory NC and Fontana CA cross dock facilities. SunBelt continues to look at metropolitan areas to open pick up and distribution facilities and we look forward to our Dallas TX satellite facility coming on line to allow a third "gateway" from which to service our customer base.
